Supper Club

Come join current friends and make new ones during an informal and intimate potluck Supper Club celebrating the upcoming growing season. When your registration is confirmed, you will receive the Newton address and your cooking assignment. Each participant will be asked to bring an appetizer, an entree, or a dessert that includes vegetables or herbs that are typically grown on the Farm during the season. The evening will include recipe sharing and mingling. Please note that this is not a vegetarian meal.

Your Hosts: Sheryl Boris-Schacter and Elsa Lawrence

Sheryl Boris-Schacter and Elsa Lawrence have both been involved with the farm for eight years as course instructors, CSA participants, and Education Committee members. Sheryl loves the farm because it serves as a model of community building, heathy eating, and accessible and sustainable gardening techniques. Elsa spent many summers in Canada working and eating fresh vegetables and fruits on the farm where her mother grew up. She feels fortunate to have similar experiences working in the fields at NCF and enjoying the bounty of the harvests.
