Supper Club

Get together with friends and make new ones during an informal and intimate potluck supper celebrating the growing season and the farm’s bounty.

With seasonal main courses provided by the hosts each participant will be asked to round out the meal with dishes featuring whatever vegetable or herb is fresh from the garden that week. The evening will include recipe sharing, mingling and, weather permitting, a garden tour of the host’s flower garden.

Your Hosts: Sheryl Boris-Schacter and Elsa Lawrence

Sheryl Boris-Schacter and Elsa Lawrence have both been involved with the farm for eight years as course instructors, CSA participants, and Education Committee members. Sheryl loves the farm because it serves as a model of community building, heathy eating, and accessible and sustainable gardening techniques.Elsa spent many summers in Canada working and eating fresh vegetables and fruits on the farm where her mother grew up. She feels fortunate to have similar experiences working in the fields at NCF and enjoying the bounty of the harvests.
