Farm Explorers: Session 6

Exploration and adventure awaits our Farm Explorers. Each week will focus on a different farm based theme as we immerse ourselves in the natural wonders and joys of Newton Community Farm. Daily activities include animal chores, tending to the learning garden, preparing and sharing healthy snacks, arts and crafts, games and time for reflection in our farm journals. Children are to bring lunch daily.

Session 6 - Take a closer look at some of the fruit and vegetables we grow here on the farm. Examine their transformation from small seed to delicious snack, compare and sample favorites grown on the farm with those bought in the store, and explore how different families cook and enjoy them.
