Summer I Farm Sprouts - Tuesdays

Ages: 2.5 - 5 with an adult

Summer Farm Sprouts is the perfect way to get outside, use your senses and learn about the farm! We'll use our eyes, ears, noses, hands, and mouths to explore Summer on the Farm. We'll watch the chicks grow up, plant and harvest in the learning garden, sing songs, read stories and do farm-themed crafts. Weekly themes include: what do plants need to grow? parts of the plant we eat, above and under ground, worms and compost, buzzing bees and pollination.

This 5-week program meets Tuesdays 10:00-11:00AM, June 18 - July 16.

Fee: $60 per child for 5-week program; $15/child for individual sessions (Registration open up to 24 hours before each session)
*no charge for adult caregivers

Join our Friend of the Farm program at the Seed Sower ($70) level or above and receive 10% off children & family programs in 2019.

You must join the Friend of the Farm program before registering to receive the discount. All discounts are applied at checkout.

Location: Newton Community Farm, 303 Nahanton Steet. Class will meet on the colorful mat near the learning garden or in the big red barn in bad weather.

Suitable for ages 2.5 to 5 years old with a caregiver. All prices are per child and children must be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of 3 children per adult. 
Preregistration is required.

Parking: Please do NOT park in the farm driveway. There is street parking available on Winchester or Nahanton Street. Thank you.
