Learn how to use light and composition to tell the story of your food from seed to plate and beyond. Join Karyn Novakowski, photographer and Newton Community Farm's executive director, in a hands-on photography workshop. We will explore different types of photography including: landscape, still life, environmental portrait, food, and macro (extreme close-up), to become better storytellers.

A DSLR is recommended but a camera phone will suffice.
Class is designed to be accessible and enjoyable to photographers with a range of experience and ability. 
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. 
Registration is required.


Join our Friend of the Farm program at the Friend ($45) level or above and receive 10% off all adult programs in 2019.

You must join the Friend of the Farm program before registering to receive the discount. All discounts are applied at checkout. 

Location: Newton Community Farm, 303 Nahanton Steet. Class will meet on the barn deck or in the big red barn depending on the weather. Class will meet rain or shine!

 

Parking: Please do NOT park in the farm driveway. There is street parking available on Winchester or Nahanton Street. Thank you.
